In this article, I discuss how individuals and activists, including myself, mobilised in response to the absence of government Covid-19 support for some +3million individuals in the UK, with many of those affected from the creative industries, among other sectors. I argue that renewal and recovery were at the heart of the path ahead for the film exhibition sector, the creative industries and a post-pandemic world more broadly, reflecting the initial ideas behind my 'Urban, Natural, Human' curatorial that would suddenly take on a whole new relevance.
