Poetry has been a strong outlet for representations of Tibet and Tibetan cultural identity. In this article, in parallel to the Through an Exile Project which I was working on concurrently, I explored Tibetan voices and their expression as reflected through poetry, featuring prominent poet, Woeser, in particular. With thanks to Dechen Pemba, whose work for High Peaks Pure Earth I drew inspiration from in writing this piece.
